1991－1992 Successfully established four joint venture cable companies in China.From 1991 Initiated the breakthrough representation of a number of internationally-known brand name equipment manufacturers including Southwire, Troester, Pourtier, Mailefeur, Rosendahl, Niehoff, Gauder, Windings, Ideal, CEECO-Bartell, Sikora, etc. serving the expanding market of the wire and cable industry in China. Sold over US$ 200 million worth of equipment and services since.
1993 Imported Light Steel Structure Construction System from Canada, and built a workshop of 50,000 mm2 for a cable works located at Pinggu District, Beijing. Later, built more than 100 light steel structure factories and warehouses in China. Supplied major high voltage cable equipment to this cable works as well as a 30,000 mt/y Copper rod making system to its sister company.
1994 Exported China-made coaxial and Radio Frequency cables to USA and Europe, which broke the former export mode of low quality products at low prices.
1995 After thorough market investigation and fierce competition, won an exporting order of USD$ 3 million worth of oil-filled and gas-filled telecommunication cable to Cyprus, gaining praise from customers.
2000 Together with a Malaysian cable group, established a high voltage power cable company in Hebei, China
2001 Successfully re-located a complete idling cable plant equipment from a large Chinese enterprise in Guangdong to East China.
2003 Chairman of the Board, Mr. Edmond Yao was appointed to a committee member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative conference of Jiangxi Province (6-year term).
Successfully imported used copper band production lines from Canada to Zhejiang, China
Successfully consummated the import of a 150,000 mt/y copper rod system from Southwire of U.S. to Jiangxi Copper. A second and bigger system was purchased in early 2005.
