 New high performance armouring lines

      Strip armouring is a commonly used process for the protection of various types of cable it’s low cost capability to provide tensile crush and impact resistance to a wide range of wire and cable applications has enormous potential within the global market. Ceeco Bartell produces two sizes of machine 50 mm and 125 mm giving the customer the highest productivity possible.

 High speed 1000 and 1500 rpm for the 125 mm and 50 mm machine respectively.

 Dual electric drive, with differential gearbox, allowing greater control of product diameter through control of linear strip speed.

 Better braking system incorporating propriety pneumatic brake control to adjust strip tension.

 Variable strip tension during running, which compensates - through the PLC - for coil depletion.

 Independently driven capstan allows greater accuracy of line speed.  This will produce less wear on belt with proper set-up.

 To improve belt wear and reduce maintenance, the caterpullar is designed with new cleat style belts.

 Easier accessibility to the machine for maintenance.

 The enclosure design has been improved to allow for excellent sealing of tooling oil mist.
