The Signing Ceremony of a mining and mineral processing co-operation of the Zambian Nama Cobalt-Copper Project took place at the Nanchang Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals on 13^th October, 2007. Mr. Edmond Yi De Yao of Pan Asia Oasis Inc., a Provincial CPPCC member from Hong Kong and Macao, has helped the Canadian Caledonia Mining Company develop the Chinese market and build up long term co-operation relationship. Committee Member Mr. Yao has presented on three occasions in three consecutive years the proposal to "Suggest Jiangxi Provincial government to form relevant policies to strive for long-term overseas supply channels of resources for copper, cobalt, aluminum and other industries". The participation of the Nanchang Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals in this project was connected through the introduction and efforts of CPPCC member Mr. Yao.
