Leader Universal Holdings Berhad of Malaysia is a listed company and is one of the largest wire and cable producers in South East Asia.  It products range from copper, Aluminum rod, spare wire, to low-medium CCV, ultrahigh voltage cable and various telecom cables. Leader Universal imports most of its equipment  from Europe and America. When the company was planning an OPGW project last year, we recommended Hefei Smarter Technology Co., Ltd. and visited Smarter and its customers with the senior management and technicians of Leader, before Leader eventually confirmed the purchase of a 630/（6+12+24）planetary strander made by Smarter for production of OPGW. With the careful and prudent design, manufacture and commissioning by technicians of Smarter, the equipment was delivered to Leader’s Penang plant in Malaysia. Few hundred kilometers of OPGW have been produced using the equipment that has been praised by technicians and workers of Leader. Recently, Leader purchased a set of 120-bobbin Shielded and Steel wire Armouring Payoff Device from Smarter.
